My name is Earvin Michael Gonzalez and I am the service Manager for CASA PA. My parents are from El Salvador and Mexico the came to the us when they were 12 years old. I am originally from Visalia California. I came to the east coast on a full ride football scholarship to THE Morgan State Univiersity. At Morgan I met my lovely wife. I have been part of the CASA family for over 5 years. I started as a volunteer in 2013. In 2014 I became and immigrant integration AmeriCorps member. In 2016 i became the program coordinator in Maryland and in 2018 I became the service manager. As our program in PA continues to grow I look forward to the opportunity to learn and grow with the PA Community.

Hi my name is Sara Salazar I immigrated to USA in 2014 from Lima-Peru. I am the services coordinator in CASA of York PA and this is my first year with Americorp Program. I am in charge of Americorp service members in daily activities which included conducting N400, pre-screening interviews, assisting with form preparations, mentoring individuals for USCIS interview, citizenship classes and conducting applicants follow up. I really enjoy what I do! I also have a beautiful BIG family (husband, four kids, my mom and mother in law) so I am pretty busy but to me is very important to keep growing as professional and pass this passion for what I do to my kids.

Hello! My name is Miosottis Torres Figueroa! I am from Puerto Rico. I have a seven moth serving as an Americorps Immigrant Integration Specialist at CASA in York, Pa. I have being prepared citizenship applications, green cards renewals, in additions to serving as a tax prepare with VITA program. In partnership with the City of York, our team is offering parts of its services at the City Hall. My passion make important contributions to society by working to improve the lives of individuals, families and groups. Develop the potential to our member and people they need our services to get their citizenship, workforce development and financial education. Serving the community is a true honor for me and something that has helped me grow as a professional and as a person.

Hi, my name is Ashley Juarez Castro. I am dual citizen from Mexico and the USA. I was born in Kansas. This my first year serving as an americorps member and I am thankful to serve along side my sister. I love to watch Netflix my favorite series is how to get away with murder. I love to cook my specialty is baking. I love to see the joy people have after we finish opening a bank account, applying for new jobs or becoming citizens. I have seen family members face hardship and this is what motivates me every day to provide these services.

Hi, my name is Martin Monegro. I am from the Dominican Republic, Santo domingo stand up! I am a student at HAAC and I want to be an accountant #HAACYEAH. This is my first year as an AmeriCorps member. I learned about CASA because I wanted to serve our community while I attended college. The tax program interested me because of my accounting major. In 5 years I plan to submit my naturalization documents.

Hello! My name is Jonas Lima and I am from the DR. I came to the United States 3 years ago with my beautiful mom and sister. This is my first year serving as an AmeriCorps member. I am attending HACC in hopes to further my education and my career. During my free time I like to play basketball, one of specialties is being able to dunk! One of the reasons I wanted to be involved with CASA is because of their service with citizenship, as I am getting ready to apply for citizenship I want to provide these quality service to my fellow community members.

I love spending time with my beautiful 4 year old boy John David. I have my interview for citizenship in Philedlphia on May 14th, so hopefully my bio will change by then :). I have been told I make delicious empanadas. I am happy to bring my experience with the citizenship process with the team!
